Sal Paolantonio built a distinguished career in sports journalism rooted in Philadelphia, beginning with The Philadelphia Inquirer in 1985, where his reporting earned both the AP Sports Editors Award and Philadelphia Magazine’s Best Sportswriter honor. Since joining ESPN in 1995 as a national NFL correspondent, he has become one of the most recognizable and respected voices covering the league, later expanding his role to include ESPN Radio as a sideline reporter and booth analyst.
Known for his insightful reporting and storytelling, Paolantonio has also made a meaningful impact off the field through philanthropic work with organizations such as the Cooper University Hospital Foundation, Jaws Youth Partnership, and Urban Promise, as well as mentoring military veterans through the American Corporate Partnership.
