Hugh Douglas made his mark as one of the most dominant defensive ends in Philadelphia Eagles history, anchoring the team’s defense during his two stints with the franchise from 1998 to 2002 and again in 2004. A three-time Pro Bowler, he earned First-Team All-Pro honors in 2000 and Second-Team All-Pro recognition in 2002 while twice leading the league in tackles for loss. Known for his relentless pass rush, Douglas ranks among the Eagles’ all-time leaders in sacks and holds a share of the franchise record for most sacks in a single game with 4.5. After his playing career, he transitioned seamlessly into broadcasting, becoming a familiar voice in Philadelphia sports media with roles at 610 WIP, ESPN, and currently as a co-host of the 94WIP Mid-Day show. In recognition of his impact on the franchise, Douglas was inducted into the Philadelphia Eagles Hall of Fame in 2022.
